Question: When can I come shoot?

​

• ​Answer: You can come shoot at any time during open-shooting hours. The club is open for open-shooting Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights from 5:30pm to 9pm, and Sunday from 1pm to 4pm. The club is not open for open-shooting on Monday, Friday, and Saturday.

Question: What is a round? 
 

• Answer: A round is equal to 25 shots or "pulls." A round is also the metric used to pay for your shooting.

Question: I am not a member, do I need to be a member to come shoot?
 

• Answer: No, non-members are allowed to come shoot TWO TIMES, if you wish to continue attending the club to shoot after you have already shot twice, you will need to purchase a membership. Non-member rounds (25 shots) are $14 each. Non-members are allowed to shoot 16-Yard American Trap only, non-members are not able to shoot Doubles, Skeet, or 5-Stand as those are member-only shooting games at our club.

Question: What type of guns can I shoot at Minot Gun Club?

• Answer: Shotguns ONLY!

Question: I want to give this a try, but what if I don't own a shotgun?

​

• Answer: That is no problem, you can rent shotguns and even purchase shells here! However, we are shotgun club, not a shotgun school... if you are interested in trapshooting but have no experience, we recommend that you seek help from another experienced member to show you the ropes. 

Question: Can you explain what becoming a member costs and what it gets me?

• Answer: Sure! It's simple.... An annual membership is $80. You, your spouse, and children 18 years old or younger can be included on this membership. Once you've purchased a membership, your rounds become discounted to $12 each, for the entire season. Your membership also gets you access to Doubles, Skeet, and 5-Stand! Even more, members have the option to purchase "punch cards" which allow for even deeper discounts on rounds for frequent shooters.

Question: What is a "Punch Card" exactly?

​

• Answer: Punch Card's are essentially pre-paid cards worth ten rounds. Punch Cards are $100 each and members can buy as many as they'd like in a season. When buying a punch card, members are pre-paying for ten rounds at once, for an even deeper discount of $10 per round. Once you own a punch card, you will stop by the office during open shooting to have rounds "punched" from your card. When you are out of punches.... your round credits have been fulfilled! ​​

Question: I want to rent the club to host an event, what does that entail?

​

• Answer: The club is available to rent at any time (schedule permitting) for shooting or non-shooting events. We are a popular venue for graduation parties, birthday parties, and private shooting events! The rental includes the use of the clubhouse, parking areas, and shooting range. The rental does not include staff, the clubhouse office, or the use of Minot Gun Club equipment. The cost of the rental is $350/day + $150 security deposit (refundable upon satisfactory inspection) and rounds are billed additionally for shooting events. RV hook-up's (power only) are available for rent with rental of the club also, the cost for each hook-up is $35/night. For rental inquiries, email office@minotgunclub.com
